Privacy Policy
Effective from 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Eikora collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the store and serve you, and we don't sell your personal information.
1.Who we are
eikora.in is operated by AMAYRA DESIGNS (“Eikora”, “we”, “us”), which decides how and why your personal information is used. Contact details are in section 12.
2.Information we collect
- 2.1When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, your GSTIN if you choose to give one, any order notes, and the details of what you bought and paid.
- 2.2When you create an account: your name, email address and password, and — if you add them — your phone number, saved addresses and email preferences. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never stored in readable form.
- 2.3When you pay: payments are made on Razorpay's secure checkout. We receive the payment reference, amount, status and the type of method used (for example, card or UPI). We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking passwords.
- 2.4When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number and order number if you give them, and your message.
- 2.5When you join our mailing list: your email address and a record of your consent (the wording you agreed to and when).
- 2.6When you browse: the technical information every website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use your IP address briefly to protect forms from abuse. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
4.How we use your information
- To process, pack, deliver and support your orders, including payment verification, refunds and returns.
- To send messages about your order and account, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, refund updates and password resets.
- To reply to your questions and complaints.
- To keep the store secure and prevent fraud and misuse.
- To keep the records that tax and accounting laws require, such as invoices.
- To send newsletters and offers — only if you have opted in, and only until you opt out.
6.How we protect it
- The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Payment details are entered directly with Razorpay and never pass through our servers.
- Access to customer information is limited to staff who need it, and every database table has access rules so customers can see only their own data.
- No system is completely secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will act promptly and notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
7.How long we keep it
- Account details are kept while your account is open.
- Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, even if you close your account.
- Messages sent through the contact form are kept as long as needed to resolve them and keep a record of our response.
- Mailing-list details, including the record of your consent, are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
8.Your choices and rights
- 8.1Access and correction. You can see and update your details and addresses under Account. You can also ask us for a summary of the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it.
- 8.2Deletion. You can request deletion of your account under Account → Delete account. Once any open orders or refunds are complete, we delete your sign-in, profile, saved addresses and mailing-list entry. Past orders are kept for legal and tax reasons, with your name, email, phone number and street address removed; the city, state, pincode and any GSTIN remain on those tax records.
- 8.3Withdrawing consent. Where we rely on your consent — for example, for marketing emails — you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before.
- 8.4Complaints. You can raise a privacy concern with our Grievance Officer (section 12).
We handle personal information in line with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its provisions come into force. To make a request, use the contact form (choose “Privacy request”) or email support@eikora.in. We may need to confirm your identity first.
9.Marketing emails
We send newsletters only if you tick the box to join our mailing list or opt in on your account. Signed-in customers can switch marketing emails off at any time under Account. Anyone can ask to be unsubscribed through the contact form. Order and account emails are not marketing and are sent whatever your preference.
10.Children
Our store is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
